Rules and Regulations
- Open to all registered IIUM undergraduate students.
- Teams must consist of 3 members. Individual participation is not permitted.
- All participants are expected to uphold IIUM’s core values of Iqra’ and Amanah, treating fellow competitors, mentors, judges, and organizers with respect. Any form of harassment, plagiarism, or unsportsmanlike behavior will lead to immediate disqualification.
- All team members must complete the official registration form before the announced deadline.
- A participant may only register as a member of one team.
- Any changes to team composition must be communicated to the organizing committee at least 24 hours prior to the hackathon kickoff.
- All work, code, design, and assets must be created during the official hackathon period.
- Participants may use open-source libraries, APIs, and publicly available frameworks, but pre-existing projects or pre-written full codebase implementations are strictly prohibited.
- Teams are responsible for bringing their own laptops, chargers required for development.
- Projects must directly align with the official themes announced.
- Plagiarism, copying pre-existing commercial solutions without significant innovation, or submitting work completed prior to the event will result in immediate team disqualification.
- Submissions must comply with ethical guidelines and IIUM standards.
- All code repositories, project documentation, and slide decks must be submitted on the official submission platform before the strict deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.
- The organizing committee reserves the right to disqualify any team found breaching the rules, cheating, or disrupting the event atmosphere.
- Organizers reserve the right to modify rules, schedules, or guidelines if necessary. Any updates will be officially communicated to all registered participants via the main announcement channel.
